Christian Dior 2010 Cruise Collection

For the Christian Dior 2009 Cruise collection, John Galliano, draws his inspiration from Christian Dior's muse Mitzah Bricard.
Think about her – very easy to remember, as she's famous for her love of turbans, stilettos and pearls.

The Christian Dior 2010 Cruise collection is an absolute example of elegance and style.
Combining different styles with different minor or major inspiration, John Galliano's new collection combines perfectly a certain '50s mood with a modern and contemporary attitude.

Suits and soft evening gowns were beautifully matched with multi-strand pearl necklaces, that obviously added some undeniable glamour to all outfits.

Chiffon cocktail dresses in shades of nude and lilac were worn with fluffy fur stoles, and structured jackets (including new versions of the Dior 'Bar' jacket) in animal print and lace.

Prints are very much used by designer John Galliano, a visionary artist, who deeply understands the history of fabrics, trends, designs and details.

No wonder that a bit of leopard print was included in the Christian Dior 2010 Cruise collection.
