Frequent failure of Receive Station Kishtwar putting people in adversities

BY MOHD MAJID MALIK : Kishtwar, June 16:- The District Kishtwar is reeling from electricity crises since long despite of the fact that Dul Power Station Kishtwar is generating 390 MHW electricity in its weep . The damages to 132 KV receiving Tower, and thereafter sang developed in the said supply line , and now frequent failure of Receiving Station Kishtwar has added fuel to fire in the sufferings of peoples . The entire Kishtwar plunged into darkness several times all of sudden , and there is no one to hear the public grievances, as the PDD installed the digital meters in the houses and shops of consumers in District Kishtwar, and the electric rent is being charged from them, but the department never bothered to provide the uninterrupted power supply. Last night the panel of City 1st Kishtwar Receiving station develop some defects owing to which the supply remained effected throughout the day and night . The employees of STD Udhampur as well as M&R.E Kishtwar failed to
restore the supply immediately, and are dependent upon the mechanic / experts , despite of the facts that the engineers are available with the department at Kishtwar. Ilyas Ahmad Malik, urged upon the Govt. to ensure the uninterrupted power supply to the business units , and the rent for the period electric remains off be exempted so that they may not suffer double loss .
